My father works here, and I've heard that in the near future, it will also become the facility to manufacture the Next Generation Space Vehicle. It is also over the site of a long gone plantation. All that is left of the plantation are two chimneys in front of the first building.

MAF will be used to build the Upper Stage of Ares I and the Core Stage of Ares V regardless of the contractor. The main players are Boeing and Lockheed Martin, with the latter currently occupying the majority of the MAF campus.

Constellation is cancelled, space shuttle has ended, now what are they going to do with it?
