It's a well-konwn high school in shanghai with a history of 150 years. Established by a French christian named Claude Gotte Land in 1849, it owns a unique foreign architectural style till now.
In the past, before 1931, its name was Xu Hui Public School or College St Ignace.
A great number of chinese talents graduated from the school, like Ma Xiang Bo(an educationist), Weng Wen Hao(an academician), Ye Xin(a writer), etc.
