Gentasari is an old village which is full of history. There were many people dying during dutch imperialism, and also there was family conflict during G30 S/PKI, a government attacked by communist party.

There was a low 'javanese ningrat' ( kingdom family from Royal Solo) who help the army to attacked dutch military. Of course this is very unusual, as we know during Solo kingdom it was devided become Jogja and Solo during Gianti Agreement. While Solo follow dutch, and Jogja choose to be independent, one of Solonese royal javanese did not agree to follow dutch and choose to escape from the palace and and choose to pursue Dutch colonial. His was descendant of pangeran seda Krapyak ( princes who died in Krapyak)
