Iidesjärvi (Tampere)

Until the 1970's Iidesjärvi was one of the most notable lake for water bird watching in Finland. After that building urban infrastructure has cut it's share, but nowadays the lake and the wild birds nesting there are protected by a natinal act. There's an observation tower on the east end of the lake and a narrow foot trail running around the lake.
