The building dates from the 16th Century, and is a great example of the 'hall house' style of construction. Serving real cask ales from the Greene King brewery. Small garden at rear and sunny seating at the front. A mixed group enjoy a drink here, business, office and locals, both young and older enjoy the hospitality at different times of the day. Food at lunchtime.
