It is located in Morang district, on the southern Terai belt of Nepal, 10 km. far from the eastern side of Itahari municipality and about 35 km. far from the northern side of Biratnagar(administrative center of morang district) . Biratchowk is Basically known for agriculture. Mostly, Rice is taken up around the place as cultivation. It has some well known industries in it. It also serves as a trading centre for the farming communities.
