Old bridge (Saint Petersburg)

At this point in the war over a railroad track was bridge connecting Pavlovsk and Tsarskoe Selo. During the war, about 1942. pavlovchane have undermined the bridge (according to other sources, it still did the Germans), as German troops were aimed at the water tower, which was at that time only, supply the city with drinking water. Thus, we had to postpone the onset of the German troops, but the city still was captured, but decided to leave the tower (It still stands on the corner of Park Street and Novgorod).
Currently, the only thing that could give former location of the bridge - this is a big mound in the north-west side, though, soon it planned to bulldoze ... On the reconstruction of the bridge is out of the question - is not cost-effective and cost ...
