The Beethovenhalle, inaugurated on 8 September 1959, serves as a concert and congress hall to the city. It is home to the ‘Beethoven Orchestra’, and internationally acclaimed guest artists and orchestras also perform here. Major events are the Beethoven Festivals held annually in autumn since 1999, but also large congresses and political party conventions. The largest of the four conference rooms seats 2.000 people.
