Lineville recreation park is located just a few blocks from downtown Lineville. The park consists of two lakes, one of which is used for fishing. As one enters the park, the lake is surrounded by a walking trail with stops along the way to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery in all directions. One can sit in swings or on benches and have a view of the highest point in Alabama, the lovely Cheaha mountains.
