  One of the best diesel locomotive sheds in India. This shed is known for having beautiful liveries for its (75+ locomotives). Locomotives that are based here include: wdm2's, wdg3a's, wdm3a's, wdm3c's, and wds4/wds6 shunters. This shed is very close to a huge Marshalling yard, probably the biggest such yard in Asia, is located here in Andal. This shed is part of Eastern Railway (ER) under Asansol division.
