St. Andrew House (Glasgow)

Built in 1964, this 15 storey office tower and ground-level retail podium replaced the old Lyric Theatre, which burned to the ground in 1953.

It enjoyed a renaissance in 2012 when it was completely gutted and transformed into a Premier Inn hotel. The concrete modular facade has been replaced by a glass and alloy panel curtain wall.
