    It is nice place, I have born and brought up in panyam arround 30 years ago. This beautiful village is located sarouned by full of Cultivated lands, Nurceries and Big pond[Cheruvu]. Since long time it is famouse of nurceries, keep continuing the tredition of its nature. Panyam has its own history since long time, You can find Paanikeswara Swamy temple which was built few centuries ago, Bingeswara Swami temple also famous, where we have Siva linga about 1 meter hight. We have temples like veeranaarayana swami temple and Vasavi Kanyaka parameswari temple which were built many decades ago. My child age was passed very joyful by playing gally games and sports. used to play cricket in cheruvu when we don't have water in it.

    hi..... sreedhar gupta historical evidences says that panyam's history can traced back to more than 1000 years.chalukyas,kakateeyas,vijayanagar rulars ruled this place.... inscriptions,structural evedences also are there..... see the inscription of kakateeyas at veeranarayana temple, vijayanagar inscription at panekesara temple. ****allthebest****

    My native place is also Panyam but born and brought up in different places. I recently visited the sai baba temple on high way near to nursery which is built few years ago . I do like love that location soon I want visit the famous temple is Paanikeswara Swamy temple which has grand history from my grand fathers
