Gramsh is a town in central Albania, the capital of the Gramsh District, which borders the district of Pogradec to the east. Its population is estimated at 11,556 (2005).
The Arbëresh family of Italian Communist Party leader and Marxist theoretician Antonio Gramsci, gained the name from this town.
