Laç or also Laçi is a city in northwestern Albania. It is the administrative center of the Kurbin District, which is part of Lezhë County. The official population is 23,400, however, the accuracy of official population statistics is questionable. Its associated football (soccer) club is KF Laçi.
Church of St. Anthony, known as "Kisha e Laçit" or "Kisha e Shna Ndout" in Albanian, situated on a hill just outside of the city, is one of the most famous religious places in Albania which is believed to have healing powers. Pilgrims of all religions, even atheist, make the effort hoping to find their physical and spiritual salvation.
