Kirillov (Russian: Кири́ллов) is a town and the administrative center of Kirillovsky District of Vologda Oblast, Russia, located on the shores of Lakes Siverskoye and Dolgoye 100 kilometers (62 mi) northeast of Cherepovets. Population: 7,735 (2010).
It was founded in the 14th century around the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery as a monastic sloboda. In 1775, the sloboda was granted town status.
