This is a major village market of Sapari District. It's believed that this village has been founded by king Kanchan in 16 th century. King Kanchan was Sen Banshi king. This village is know as location of Shree Sarbhodaya HSS. This is a famous school of saptari. I proud i am a product of that school.

this is a major village/newely announced municipality of saptari district.it is belived that the nomenclature of this place from the name of Sen banshi king kanchan,ruled 16th century.this is the 2nd market of district, coming after Rajbiraj. here is a renowned HSS 'Sarvoday HSS.i feel very proud of the school.
