Ancient Vidyeshwar mandir here, contemporary to Lohnā-Vidyeshwar. On a Vishnu idol, there is an inscription of King Malladeva, elder son of Nānyadeva (founder of famous Karnāt dynasty of Mithnilā in 1091 AD).
