Pahari Mandir,

It is a very beautiful Mandir of Lord Shankara.
Its on top of huge mountain & u have to climb about 200 steps to reach to lord Shiv's Mandir.
During Saawan time this place looks packed with devoties....people come to make wish here & thanks God when fulfilled.

  • It is a pity that the place Fansi Tongri (hill) carries the gruesome colonial past but the "devotees" of Shiva have been trying to forget the name of the hill and making it as though it was always a pleasant hill. Let us keep the name Fansi Pahari (Tongri) that reminds us of our colonial past and continue our devotion to the Shiva.
  • that is a place whare we see ranchi city at a glance.this place satiated at five kilomittrs from ranchji staion. tempo fare only 15 rs.
  • The no. of steps are around 400. Very nice temple. I visited 10 days back.
  • i diwakar prakash have seen this place often.it has a lot of importance in mythology.a gate donated by b.p.azad is here but his lodge is very dirty to live there.his lodge`s name is badshah lodge situated in purulia road.
