Nowy Korczyn

The village in Poland. In the past an important political and trade center. It was called Nowe Miasto Korczyn (New City Korczyn) and general sejmik of Sandomierz voivodeship was held there. It had fallen after the Swedish wars in XVII century. In the year 1869 it lost its city rights and its name was changed to Nowy Korczyn.
