 office building  Add category

One of the main ING buildings in Amsterdam. Designed by Alberts and Van Huut : www.albertsenvanhuut.nl
The building was opened in 1987. The exterior of the building is determined by ten towers, varying in heights and with slightly tilted walls. The ten towers are connected by an internal street of 350 meters that winds its way in a fanciful S-shape through the nearby shopping and residential area. It is an energy-saving building that also distinguishes itself through the use of harmonious colors and the extensive use of art. There is much appreciation for the originality of the concept and the construction. Meanwhile this way of building has been copied several times.
