PREVIOUS COMMENT:
Up until recently, this park has been operated a public swimming pond. It had become a burden to the Town of Webster as little Webster residents used the park and only people from nearby areas utilized it. It all came together when a man jumped into a portion of the swimming pond not designated for swimming to save his drowning child. He died. After an investigation, the Town seized all operations in the park. Today, it is a quiet place with paved trails where people enjoy roller blading, walking, and running.
