The history of Riga Technical College can be traced back to 1935, when VEF Vocational School was founded. Since then, the school has expanded considerably offering a wide range of specialties, changed its name several times due to mergers, takeovers and alliances with other educational institutions and become one of the biggest vocational and professional education schools not only in Latvia, but also in the Baltics. Currently, it consists of 3 buildings as well as numerous workshops and laboratories.
