Old coal mining area

This spot was once home to a large conveyor belt that hauled coal out of the pit (southern-most lake) up to the large gravel area where it was crushed and loaded into dump trucks. Some time in late 2001/early 2002 the remains of the conveyor were removed.

The white rectangle is an old bridge that the conveyor ran under.
