U.S. Route 190 / Texas Highway 36

US Highway 190 runs east-west from near Iraan, TX to near Slidell, LA. It starts at Interstate 10 fourteen miles west of Iraan. It travels east through Lampasas and Temple, where it crosses Interstate 35. It continues across Texas and into Louisiana. It crosses Interstate 49 in Opelousas then goes through Baton Rouge and ends at US 90 east of Slidell.

SH 36 starts in Abilene at Treadway Boulevard. It heads southeast past US 283, US 183, and US 67/US 377 in Comanche. It goes through Hamilton (US 281), Gatesville (US 84), and on towards Temple (I-35). It merges with US 190 until Milano, then crosses US 290 in Brenham. SH 36 continues south through Sealy (I-10) and Rosenberg (US 59). It ends when it meets FM 1495 in Freeport. SH 36 is 323.1 miles long.
