It was a Higher Sec.School. I studied here From 1964 to 1968. DR Awadhesh Prasad Singh 'Kale Badal',was Principal of the school.My favourite teacher Mr.Mahfooz Alam,Suresh Prasad (Geog. wizard) and several other learned teachers guided me & my friends.Viz.S/Sh. Pitambar Jha,Umesh Pandey,Remy Joecham Shah, Jagannath Singh, Jagdish Trigunayat,Kashinath Jha etc.I salute all.---Mohinder Pal S/O Late Sh Sub. Hardass Ram Sr. Security Officer H.E.C.CD/541-III ,Amit Kr.Mitra,SatindraPd.Surinder Sikka,Umesh Pandey Laxminarayan &Ramakant Vishvakarma(Tulsidas fame)etc. were my classmates.

  • Thank you for the sharing these valuable memories. I did attend this school for a year and do remember all the teachers you have mentioned. HEC High School was really a pool of knowledge . I think the Principal was Dr. Indradev Prasad singh "Kale Badal".

  • Thanks for your valuable comment, i was studied in High School from 1982 - 1985, passed 10th Matric in 1985 that time Principal was Mahfooz Alam, our favourite principal and favourite teacher is Shree Sir, Jha Sir, NCC teacher (name not remember).

  • Respected seniors and all, this school is changed into education department of Jharkhand Govt. and Modern bakery's building is given to Police force of Jharkhand. But, try to remember a small hotel / dhaba between both premises where we have taken jalebi and samosa after NCC class is still same no change. thanks to every one to given a chance to remember this all.
  • I am son of Jagannath Singh. He passed away in 2001. After working in many organisations I finally joined HEC in 2010. There are true students who still remember their teachers. My father later acquired Ph.D. He became Principal in HEC dhurwa High School.
  • Hi, This is Vikas. I graduated in 1980. Mahfooz Alam was the principal during those years. I'll love to hear from someone my batch. I was in NCC and I do remember T. N. Jha. JPN Jha and Sahu sire were our math teachers.

  • Mr. Ramjee through these very messages one of my class mate Mr. Triyambak Bhatt contacted and now I am his whatsapp friend. I will feel great if others can also spare some precious minutes from their busy life. Whenever I entered in classrooms as teachers and was teaching Arithmatics to my students I felt myself to be in the robes of my great teacher Shri Jagannath Singh jee.   • Unfortunately our great teacher is no more. He left this transient world for Almighty's lap, most probably in 2001. I contacted his worthy son Adil Hussain and he informed me. Respected Dr. Jagannath Singh also no more. He contacted me through these very columns, this very helpful and worthy son of Dr. Jagannath Singh Mr. Ramjee Singh informed me. I am very very much thankful to all my school mates and class mates. Pl. do inform if you get any other information about our school, which have become a police institute now.   • I well remember your father and you now as you lived in CD 541, we had a common friend Mr. Veer. His son Ashok was my mate. We lived in CD 487 for quite a long. I recently visited that area to update my memories. Things have changed a lot as this area is now centre of Jharkhand capital & politics. HEC exists nominally. -Milind ( milind@iee.org)
