Completed in 1994, this 36-storey (170 metres) building was constructed at a cost of RM300 million. It serves as the headquarters (HQ) of Public Bank, currently the biggest domestic bank in Malaysia by shareholders' funds. In terms of size, the bank is the third largest domestic bank by market capitalization and balance sheet. It focuses on retail customers and small to medium sized enterprises. The bank was founded in 1966 by Teh Hong Piow, the then General Manager (GM) of Malayan Banking (Maybank). The bank was listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange in 1967.
