Opened 1977, closed 2015, demolished 2016. Set to be replaced with offices, a hotel and a "lifestyle center" open-air shopping area. Only Lord & Taylor (which is fighting the redevelopment in court) remains open. The Bloomingdale's anchor store at the south end was demolished in 2013.

  • Nice bookstore too. And Cheesecake Factory. Don't forget cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.
  • This mall used to be the hot place to be. Montgomery Mall took it's place.
  • Montgomery Mall No 1
  • This was the Mall when it opened -- more or less 1979. I. Magnin of San Francisco was the third department store anchor. Glass elevators to the third floor's Loft restaurant. Very fern-bar looking at the time.
