  • The most beautiful place in the Southern Crimea!!!
  • Семииз (Simeiz, Semeiz, Semeis) is a quaint, charming and historic seaside village on the rocky southern coast of Crimea. The beaches are pebbly stones. Pre-Revolutionary and early Soviet-Era buildings are surrounded by old evergreen trees. There are a few discos, numerous cafes & many accommodations, mostly in the "private sector." With an historic reputation as a summer retreat for artists & progressive Slavs, tourists are almost exclusively urban Russians, Ukrainians or Byelo-Russians. No English-speaking service sector existed in 2006. Bus routes connect to various cities in Crimea, and Yalta is 45min drive by taxi. August is hot, & crowded with students; September is the finest weather, enjoyed by older couples & pensioners.
