Formerly known as the Labor Hospital, QMMC was built and organized for the service of the indigent on Aug 15, 1953 during the tenure of the late President Elpidio Quirino. Later, it was named as Quirino Labor Hospital pursuant to PD 3975, and then to Quirino Memorial General Hospital pursuant to RA 7174 & EO 119 with a 250-bed capacity from 250 to 350 under 8313 in 1998.

  • the hospital staff has nothing to do with the difficulty of your work, it depends on your C.I.! i usually throw used syringe on random trash cans in this pace hoping that some dumb garbage collector gets wounded and the hospital will surely pay some large money to compensate for him. hahaha
  • it is nice that we have this kind of hospital in the country that caters to the needy and poor people that addresses their health needs. Pres. PNoy please give more aids to this hospital and to other hospitals of this kind in order that they could serve more especially the poor people. My future mother-in-law is now undergoing eye surgery for cataract in this hospital for and in behalf of my fiancee, i would like to thank all the staff and chief of this hospital, especially dr. marasigan for a job well-done.
