  • This area was also onced used as part of the western town seen in most Bonanza episodes when the Cartwright's rode into town, with the plaster paris mountain seen many times in the background being used to hide the Desilu mill built after Desilu bought the ajacent land. With this same area later used as a ghost town in an episode of the Brady Bunch where family runs into an old prospector played by actor Jim Backus, who thinks they came to steal his gold.
  • Actually, the exteriors were shot at Paramount Ranch in the Malibu Mountains. Many of the interiors were shot at the studio, but the exteriors were shot at the studio ranch, as well as else where.
  • B-tank was used for The Ten Commandments parting of the Red Sea.
