This seperate Helicopter Regiment was equipped with Ka-27 units. It is unknown how many there were or to where this unit many have been assigned since re-organisation of the Russian Naval Aviation forces in the period 2008-10.

The Ilyushin Il-38 (NATO reporting name: "May") is a maritime patrol aircraft and anti-submarine warfare aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. It was a development of the Ilyushin Il-18 turboprop transport.
There were also some An-12 on base.
