Al Warsan Lake area is home to an extraordinary 186 species of the most rare and exotic birds found in the Arabian Peninsula, as well as many mammals, fish, reptiles and plants.

this is not a natural lake. it is formulated by the nearest Dubai sewage water treatment plant. however it looks like a huge lake, middle of the desert. even large flamingoes and other water birds were settled here sometime back. now the new townships are arising around this pond. the flamingoes do not like it. so they are "flying go" back to Dubai creeck wildlife sanctuary.
