This is the main hall building of Uppsala University since 1887. The magnificent auditorium and a substantial part of the university's extensive art collections can be seen inside. The entrance hall can be viewed by the general public at any time, while the magnificent inner rooms are opened in connection with guided tours.
The historic auditorium in University Hall is used primarily for conventions and conferences, with room for an audience of up to 1,800 people. In the same building are another six lecture halls for groups of between 32 and 200 people. In the faculty rooms, many kinds of receptions are often arranged in connection with conferences.
