Original groundwood mill built in 1905 by the Spanish River Pulp and Paper Company. Purchased by the Abitibi Power and Paper Co. in 1927.
Purchased by the Kalamazoo Vegetable Parchment Co. in 1943.
Purchased by Brown Forest Industries in 1966.
Purchased by George Weston Ltd, owners of E.B. Eddy, from the Brown Co. of New York in 1969.
Purchased by Domtar in 1998.
The hardwood line was extensively modernized in 1999.

Annual paper production capacity of 80,000 tons. Annual pulp production capacity of 350,000 tons. 2 pulp machines, 2 paper machines.

Over 200 different grades of technical and specialty papers, Northern hardwood pulp, Northern softwood pulp and FSC Pulp.
