Bolinas Military Reservation (site)

Also known as SCR-296, site 2. Built in 1942, Bolinas Military Reservation was the site of three fire control stations. The stations supplied target azimuth angles to the nearby harbor defense guns. A barracks was also located here for twenty troops from Sixth Army area. The fire control pillboxes, barracks ruins, and a previous landowner's home remain.
This area is now privately owned land, access restricticed.
