It's the best possible place to be in Serampore. More than 300 yrs old, it was made by the contemporary dutch government. Got a nice wooden veranda in the north. (inside info: the kitchen has got ample cockroaches and there are 5 huge verandas in the house but the best one is the main one upstairs facing the river)
