The tunnel has five air shafts. Four are in Catesby parish and each has a diameter of 10 feet (3 m). The fifth is in the neighbouring parish of Hellidon, and has a diameter of 15 feet (4.6 m) for greater airflow.[5] All are lined and faced with Staffordshire blue brick. -Adapted from Wikipedia.
