The Field of Dreams Children’s Charity Foundation, Inc.is a non-stock, non- profit organization that operates in Davao City and Region XI. Opened on October 20, 2007 in close proximity to a primary school in Biao Guianga, Tugbok District. The foundation caters 30 children ages 3 to 18 years old (all boys) who are homeless, dependent, neglected, abandoned and orphaned in 24 hours. Thanks to our founder Mr. Lawrence R. Field who committed a great part of his total worldly assets to the cause .

We provide programs and services appropriate to the needs of the children such as Social Services, Homelife Services, Educational/Tutorial Services, Practical Skills and Development, Livelihood Project, Health Services (Medical/Dental), Religious, Recreational/Sports and Dietitics Activities.To help reduce operational costs, we have a livestock building and are rearing pigs, poultry and goats with fruits and vegetables being


grown on the 4.75 acre plot of land in order to give a balanced diet with variety and high nutritional content. Amenities within the home include a kitchen, dining, living room, library, study, playroom, 5 dormitories each with en-suite, external recreational facilities, a guest room, staff rooms and an office. Staffing levels are in line with the Department of Social Welfare and Development requirements; with a Center Manager, a Registered Social Worker, Supervising Houseparent, 4 Houseparents, 1 House helpers and a Cook.



We assure our friends and supporters of the Home that we have capable friendly staff who will help our children to maximize their potential to live happy, healthy and productive lives. As their development since moving in has been dramatic- insecurity replaced by confidence, uncertainty by optimism, and worried frowns by mile wide smiles. Wherever possible, we will provide services that replicate normal family life.

We will give our children plenty of love and attention in a relaxed atmosphere. These children deserve our best efforts and we do need help from other funding agencies to ensure our long term survival and to make our home continues to flourish.
