ELCOSTEEL was established in 2008, started with only one production line that was dedicated to manufacturing steel sections from low carbon steel. Now the company has three production lines that are dedicated to manufacturing steel sections and one production line for hollow sections, all of those are in the city of Port Said, Egypt. Our strategic location in Port Said, gives us an advantage over other manufacturers in Egypt, due to our close proximity to the port, reducing transportation costs and saving our clients money.

ELCOSTEEL is located in PortSaid’s southern industrial district, we work in producing a wide range of medium sections with a capacity of 50,000 ton/year. Our product is well established in the Egyptian market and we have exported to Lebanon and Libya.

In November 2011, after the Egyptian revolution, we have decided to expand in the market and the vision of ELCO STEEL 2 has been born. This production line is dedicated, to light sections, which have great demand in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East. The production line is also in Port Said’s southern industrial district and has a production capacity of 200,000 ton/year of light sections and hollow sections.

ELCOSTEEL 2 production line was dismantled and imported from the United Kingdom in 2012 and the line was made by Morgardshammar, SWEDEN. All electrical equipment components in the line are ABB and renewed and upgraded in the UK before shipped to our site in Port Said, Egypt where it is installed.
