Originally a medieval moat castle.
The foundations of the castle dates from 1350, the other
sections from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The yard forms picturesque buildings in brick and "Brabant sandstone" architecture.
In 1977 the castle and its surroundings became architectural protected heritage.
