Silang, officially the Municipality of Silang (Tagalog: Bayan ng Silang), is a 1st class Highly urbanized municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 295,644 people. 

Silang is located in the eastern section of Cavite. It is home to the Philippine National Police Academy, PDEA Academy, and International Institute of Rural Reconstruction head office.

With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now part of the Manila's conurbation which spans southward toward Lipa City.

  • Silang Cavite is the "Seventh day Adventist Capital of the Philippines". This is so cool every November to February. I was living here since 2002. ADRA Philippines, is in Silang Town Proper, AUP is in Puting Kahoy, AIIAS is in Lalaan 1, SSD (the Adventist Headquarters in Southeast Asia) is in San Miguel 2 Bypass, and 1000 MM is in Balubad. We have 20 Adventist churches here in this town.
