Eagle Rock" the summer estate of Henry Clay Frick of Pittsburgh. Located at 453 Hale Street. The grand Eagle Rock was designed in the neo-Georgian style, and Frick collected 17th and 18th century bronze and porcelain to add to its collection; a major departure from Clayton's style.
Eagle Rock included features only a man of Frick's means could build, such as a "plunge bath" that could be filled with either fresh or salt water, at a warm or cold temperature, as desired.
Eagle Rock no longer stands. The family wing of the enormous structure was razed in 1939, and the remainder was torn down in 1969. The collection from the home was added to the collection at Clayton.
