The village Venadu lies in the interiors of Sulurupeta near Sri Hari Kota (India's Space Launching Station) in Nellore District. The village is famous for the Dargah of Hazrat Dawood Shah Wali (Rahmatullah Alaih). What's so unique about this Dargah is the length of the Mazar of the aforesaid Buzurg. The mazar is a whopping 144 feet in length to be precise. Since the mazar is located in the interiors and was not cemented it used to wither away due to strong winds but would again regain its shape once the winds subsided. Recently the mazar was converted into a cemented one by none other than the Mozart Of Madras Mr A. R. Rahman.

  • I have visited Four Times to dawoo shaj. The very first time i tried to reach him without any concrete details, i was taken along by automobile light aside our path and............... at last there were lights to recognize his place. Thanks for the unknown ones helped me. Fourth time i got access inside the mazar fortunately was offered some sweets and pori..................by none other than a child. Both happened to my beleif............................... masha... wholeheartedly to know more about Hazrat Dawood Shahj. please let me know more bout shaj and ammaji thanks
  • Assalaamualaikkum.I went to Dawood Shah Waliyullah Dargah yesterday (20th May 2012).The dargah is located in Venadu,in sullurpeta near shriharikota,Nellore District,Andhra Pradesh.The way to dargah:After u reach AP find yor way till Sullurpet.from there you take a turn where there is a board showin an arrow to shroharikota.. Take the road n keep going sraight towards sriharikota.from there fibd your way towards pulicat lake you will reach a point with a board showing you the way to dargah.from there the road is a kaccha road n you shud drive at a speed of 20 of u r goin by your car.leep following the road aftrr about 45 mins you will reach the dargah.there are also buses and share autos which will take you to dargah from sulurpet.the datgah is 144 feet long mazar.anyone who goes there n prays with true heart,their prayers are definitely answered.if anyone can contribute somethin then please try to hep by addingg .few.street lights n help develop the bad roads.so that more and more people can come and visit this dargah.
  • I went there and i saw an amazing crowd.people from al over not only muslims but other religions too have come to see the long mazar and pray.Dawood Shah Waliullah Baba is a sufi saint who came to sriharikota through sea with His sister.Baba was welcomed by the people of that village and He stayed there with His sister practising Sufism and helping people of the village.the people of the village would respect Baba a lot.Baba used to usually sit under a tree and practise Sufism.one day Baba dug a deep pit like a grave near the tree and laid himself in the deep grave and asked few kids to put mud on him and close the grave.The kids followed Babas words and closed the grave and then they realized that Baba was alive and they have closed Him in a pit.the kids ran to elders of the village and explained wat happened.the elders ran to get Baba out of the grave near the tree.When they started digging the mud out they heard a voice tellin them to leave the place and not dig.the people got worried and left the place.From then Baba is inside the grave alive and he helps people.the mazar kept growin longer and longer.and its 144 feet today.it is said that Baba is inside and.he is Alive listening to al out prayers and helping us.on the no moon day(amavasai) of every month Babas movement can be seen in the dargah. A lot of people come on a no moon day and wait till night where they can see the movement in the mazar which indicated that Baba is breathing and he is in there.its a miracle and many people have witnessed it too.this was even shown in tv (sun tv, program name:nijam)to my surprise i saw an old tree near the mazar where Baba was buried Years ago.the tree is still there.this story was heard from tv and other sources.i have shared it with u al hope it was helpful.if anyone knows anythin about our Dawood Shah Waliullah Baba please share.
  • asalamalikum.i visited darga for five to six times.ever one srprise by seeing dagah.i passed my. exam i got a job and i married well with baba duwa.wen i have any proble.m i keep fasting in namndii e. itof bdaba before i complete my fastingnd my prpblem wil b solved.

As Vedas, Kuran, Bhagavad Gita, Bible explains when a man Realizes his self he is non other than ME(GOD)... In Such a way the Lord himself came like a Hazarath Syed Dawood Auliya baba.
