Exchange Square (Manchester)

A major shopping square including a Marks & Spencers and Selfridges and a big BBC screen that is on the front of The Triangle Shopping Centre. There is access to the Arndale Centre (the largest in-town shopping centre in the UK) and the Triangle Centre (small but more upmarket). In 1996 the IRA detonated a large bomb here in their worst act of terrorism. It has now been developed to modernise Manchester.
