Sri Ugra Narasimha the prominent diety has eight hands, stands on one leg, has three eyes, has got nabhi kamala and is depicted slaying the demon Hiranyakashipu with his nails. This unique idol is considered Swayambhu and legend has it that it was worshipped by Prahlad. It was consecrated here by Sri Vijayaendra Thirtha swamiji over 5 centuries back.

Lord Bindu Madhav is the Utsav diety. This idol was found by Sri Madhavendra Thirtha Swamiji in the holy Ganges at Varanasi. They consecrated it here in the 18th century and also started the various utsavs.

The first idol to be consecrated here was Vittala. This was brought here by GSB family that was invited by the local chieftain in the early 13th century. The temple was then called as Vittala Gudi.
