  • I only know of Las Vegas as a student of nearby Armand Hammer United World College (in Montezuma)--it's a sweet town. If going through, visit Ray's tattoo shop (Razor?), he is a nice dude.
  • Watch what you say.
  • Las Vegas is not the Heroin capitol, look at Los Angeles. I live in Las Vegas, and it is a great town to live in, it has it's unique traits, like two rival school districts who constantly attempt beating the other at state competitions. The town is divided into two different districts, one on the West bank of the small Gallinas River (West Las Vegas/Old Town), and one on the East Bank of the river (East Las Vegas/New Town). We have our own little unique history, and our own unique people (complete with a unique "accent"). Several historic buildings are also located in Las Vegas, including a Masonic Lodge, a Drive-In Theater, a Roman Catholic Church built in the early 1900's, many European-style Victorian Era homes, and two large, expensive historic hotels. Many, many other historic buildings are also located in Las Vegas. It's an enjoyable little town worth a stop at if you're passing through.
  • Las Vegas is a neat, quaint little town that is a great place to stop and relax. The "Heroin Capital" guy is just running off at the mouth.
  • Wolverines!
