Lesser Faror is situated 67 km from Bandare Lenge and 65 km from Abu Musâ island, in the Persian Gulf.

This island is located between latitudes 26- 8' and 26- 6' N. and longitudes 54- 27' and 54- 26' E and is a part of Abu Musâ sub-province (one of six islands in Abu Musâ Island Group) and Hormozgán province in Iran. There is no habitation on this island.
