Paraguaná Wind Farm is located just south of Santa Cruz de Los Taques, on the west side of the Paraguaná peninsula, in Falcón state, Venezuela. Completed in 2013, it consists of 54 Gamesa / MADE AE-61-1.320 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 71.28 MW.
Note 1: There was supposed to be a 2nd phase with an additional 22 turbines. The turbine bases were built, but remain as bases only (no towers or turbines).
Note 2: It is unclear whether this wind farm is fully functional. There are, for example, numerous reports on the web about it not being actually connected to the national grid.
