Constructed in the 1920s, originally as the Lewis’s Department store. It was subsequently converted into an office building, housing Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Hearing Centre.

The Minories, a shopping arcade, cuts through the building at ground level. The Square Peg pub, operated by JD Wetherspoon, fronts on to Corporation Street. It used to have the largest bar serving table in the world before being beaten by another bar in London.
