Historic 1940 Art Deco hotel. Closed in 2013. The 1955 south wing was demolished in 2015 for a planned redevelopment which never happened. The 1940 tower was to be converted to 22 luxury condos, known as Faena Versailles Classic, while another 41-unit luxury condo building, to be known as Faena Versailles Contemporary, was to be constructed adjacent to it on the site of the 1955 wing.

After that plan fell through, new plans were announced in 2019 for an Aman Hotel project that would consist of the historic tower and a new adjacent tower. Permission for this development was granted in 2020.
